Information Technology Business Analyst

LeverageTek is actively seeking an IT Business Analyst for a 3-month contract with its Ottawa based customer.

Key Tasks

1. Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, translating them into detailed technical specifications.
2. Data Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze complex data sets to uncover patterns and insights that inform business decisions.
3. Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend solutions to enhance operational performance.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, facilitating effective communication to ensure project success.
5. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and changes to maintain clarity and facilitate future reference.

Key Qualifications

1. Minimum 8-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT/Technology projects with a particular focus on Cloud Infrastructure and IT Operations.
2. Recent and demonstrated experience as a Lead Business Analyst supporting large Enterprise Technology projects within an Enterprise Project Management (EPMO) environment.
3. Experience with traditional Business Analyst documentation activities and tasks such as creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, User Stories, Technology Matrices, Systems requirements documentation, contributing to UAT and Systems Integration testing documentation, etc.

Assets:

1. Experience working in the Banking for Financial Services sector.
2. Experience with Google Cloud Platforms (GCP).
3. CBAP certification.
