City P&D LTL Dispatcher

We are hiring for a leading company in the transportation industry with an immediate opening for a City P&D LTL Dispatcher in Mississauga, ON.

Start Date: Immediately
Shift: 12 pm start
(Must have some flexibility to work days)
Location: Dixie Rd. & Matheson Rd.
Rate: $65,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day communications via phone and/or handheld device, with fleet of drivers.
• Manage drivers with multiple stops -- pickups and deliveries.
• Effectively communicate load instructions and ensure they are carried out.
• Efficiently delegate loads to maximize time and load factor.
• Manage service concerns as required.
• Coordinate maintenance of fleet vehicles.
• Assist with generating reports and other administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in GTA city P&D LTL necessary.
• Good computer skills with accuracy in data entry and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management with high ability to multitask.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable to work independently with no supervision.
• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• 'Can-Do' attitude with a passion to drive results.
• Clean criminal background required.
