Social Media and Administration Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and Administration Specialist to join our team. This role combines the management of our social media presence with general administrative tasks to support our directors and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management:
    1. Develop and execute engaging content tailored to our target audience across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
    2. Monitor and manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and interacting with followers to foster a vibrant online community.
    3. Create and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
    4. Analyse social media metrics and performance data to measure the success of campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to improve future strategies.
    5. Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain our brand's relevance and competitiveness.
    6. Address negative feedback or issues on social media in a professional and timely manner, ensuring the brand's reputation is upheld.
    7. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and public relations, to align social media efforts with overall business objectives.
  2. General Administration:
    1. Assist directors and senior management with various administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
    2. Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as needed to support management initiatives.
    3. Maintain organized records and files for easy access and reference.
    4. Support the planning and execution of company events and meetings, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively.
    5. Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of management, ensuring timely and professional responses.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  3. Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media management tools.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 – 20 per week
