Responsibilities & Requirements
Job Responsibilities
Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens; collects specimens; accessions, labels, and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas.
Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance tests in all patient areas.
Other duties assigned.
Job Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old and/or have high school graduation or the equivalent.
Hours/Shifts:
3 days a week 1300-2200 with rotating weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year experience preferred and/or graduation from a phlebotomy program.
