Reporting to the Chief of Operations, the Field Crew position is a versatile role designed to work outdoors, in the field, as a member of our drone operations team. You’ll be responsible for mission planning, driving and navigating major highways, FSR roads & trails, safely operating drones and other equipment, communicating with clients, crew leaders, & managers, problem solving with limited access to cell/internet connection, upholding the Hummingbird brand & reputation, and ensuring the capture of high quality data that we will use to make the detailed, accurate maps we are known for.
There is flexibility to what this role offers, based on the growth of the business and the strengths of the candidate we hire. This is a part-time/casual position that has the potential to grow into full-time by the spring or early summer. Our busiest season is summer.
