Job Summary:

Behind the scenes, the Finance and Corporate Services Division plays a vital role in driving the ministry's success by ensuring compliance with financial, procurement, and human resource procedures, policies and laws. The Financial Services Branch is a key partner in this process, working closely with ministry leaders to offer comprehensive financial management services that drive strategy and oversee financial administration, ensuring efficient use of the ministry's resources.
As the Director, Business and Financial Management, you will be responsible for co-developing financial strategy and program delivery, turning budget plans into action, and providing critical financial insights to deliver effective programs and services. This role provides the financial expertise and organizational knowledge that ensures the Ministry’s strategic intent has a successful financial implementation.
