We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst with expertise in Ceridian Dayforce to join our HR team. The HRIS Analyst will play a crucial role in the development, maintenance, and optimization of our internal HRIS. This position requires a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. In addition to HRIS responsibilities, this role will involve administrative duties to support the operations of the Human Resources department.

Position Functions
HRIS Development and Maintenance:
- Develop and customize functionalities within the Ceridian Dayforce system to meet organizational needs.
- Implement system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Ceridian Dayforce.
User Management:
- Create and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Ceridian Dayforce.
- Conduct audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
- Provide support to users across all company locations (Canada and U.S.) regarding access, functionality, and troubleshooting.
Training and Support:
- Design and conduct training sessions for HR staff and end-users on Ceridian Dayforce functionalities, updates, and best practices.
- Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to facilitate effective system utilization.
Onboarding and Integration:
- Spearhead the onboarding process through Ceridian Dayforce, ensuring smooth integration of new hires into the system.
- Collaborate with HR business partners to streamline onboarding workflows and enhance user experience.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate custom reports and analytics using Ceridian Dayforce data to support HR decision-making and compliance requirements.
- Automate report generation and distribution to key stakeholders as needed.
Administrative Duties:
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and maintaining departmental email accounts.
- Assist in coordinating departmental meetings and events as needed.
- Assist in driving the company attendance program.
- Provide customer service to employee groups regarding HRIS inquiries and support requests.
Working Conditions
The successful incumbent will be working 40+ hours per week in an office setting. Ongoing use of computers is required. This position requires occasional travel across Ontario.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HRIS Analyst with expertise in Ceridian Dayforce implementation and administration.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, including onboarding, performance management, recruitment, and training.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Ceridian Dayforce modules and workflows.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
