Job Details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
Work Setting: Museum, War/military museum. Relocation costs not covered by employer.
Responsibilities
- Prepare reports.
- Assist in the research, handling, and storage of artifacts.
- Classify and assign registration numbers to artifacts and supervise inventory control.
- Conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions, and historical, heritage, and other sites; answer inquiries and provide information.
- Protect and care for cultural artifacts and collections during exhibitions, while in transit, and in storage.
Technical Experience
- Curatorial assisting.
- Exhibit preparation.
- Interpretation/guiding.
Experience
Experience is an asset.
Security and Safety
- Enhanced reliability security clearance.

Salary
$19.69 to $20.87 per hour (to be negotiated) / 64 to 80 hours bi-weekly.

Term or contract, Full time. Day, Evening, Morning. Start date: 2025-05-01, End date: 2025-08-01.
