Early Childhood Educator - Classroom Assistant (English/French)

The Montessori School of Sudbury is seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educators - Classroom Assistants to join our team. We are looking for caring, dependable individuals who are passionate about early learning, child development, and the Montessori philosophy. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to nurturing each child’s potential, we want to hear from you!

We have both full time and part-time positions available. Both English and French positions available. Applicants must have a Criminal Record Check, First Aid/CPR Training.

Responsibilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills (In English and/or French)
• Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, handle deadlines, and simultaneously handle students, parents and school administrative needs
• Strong classroom management, organization and planning skills
• French/English bilingualism is an asset

The Educator is dedicated, compassionate, intuitive, caring and nurturing. He/she is passionate about working with and understanding children. The Educator is patient, self-directed and organized. He/she possesses a vibrant personality, tenacious drive, and strong leadership skills.
