HSE Manager at MWL Demolition

MWL Demolition Ltd is a family-owned business with a team of experienced demolition professionals. Our projects include residential, industrial, and commercial demolitions. Our dog-friendly office is located just off United Blvd in Coquitlam and we are hiring for our projects located throughout the lower mainland.

Requirements:

• Field experience in industrial construction or demolition site safety
• CSO certification and/or OFA level 2 or higher
• Experience in a variety of project types
• Good organizational skills
• Document management skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to handle high-pressure situations in a professional manner
• Valid BC Drivers Licence
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation

Responsibilities:

• Creating site-specific fire plans
• Creating traffic management plans
• Creating project safety plans
• ESC plans
• Conduct monthly JOHSC meetings
• Ordering, distributing & tracking inventory of safety supplies
• Updating OHS manual as needed
• Routine site visits
• Monthly inspections of office and yard
• Incident investigations and reporting
• COR Audits
• ISNetworld management
• COVID-19 safety implementations per WCB & government regulations
• Provide safety support to work sites

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
