Job description

Job Title: Assistant Manager, Restaurant

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks

  1. Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  2. Evaluate daily operations
  3. Monitor staff performance
  4. Plan and organize daily operations
  5. Train staff
  6. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  7. Conduct performance reviews
  8. Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  9. Organize and maintain inventory
  10. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  11. Participate in marketing plans and implementation
  12. Lead and instruct individuals
  13. Address customers' complaints or concerns
  14. Provide customer service
