Your Missions:

As the vaccine production operator you will carry out manufacturing operations in accordance with appropriate procedures, in compliance with HSE standards, productivity targets and quality standards (GMP, hygiene). You will propose ideas to improve productivity (workstations organization, quality and safety). You will be responsible for the daily activities of the laboratory and ensure you meet the appropriate specifications for the production of animal vaccines (harvesting, purification and aseptic filling activities). You will participate in the construction of the new documentation system and the validation of the equipment and processes (clean zone, autoclaves, centrifuge, tangential flow filtration system).

Duties Include:

  1. Suggest set-up of the team's work in daily Tier 1 based on the given production schedule. Execute production planning, reporting quality standards.
  2. Inform & escalate in case of issue or in case can't solve / deviation.
  3. Monitor & improve their activity on continuous basis; perform sampling for daily, weekly and monthly Environmental monitoring.
  4. Complete the processing, documentation and cleaning in an aseptic processing area. Work independently, complete daily tasks accurately and efficiently.
  5. Collect samples from various tanks, surfaces and environment. Perform equipment and instrument calibrations according to established procedures.
  6. Identify and report irregularities identified with any aspects of work. Review production batch records.
  7. Act as a responder for incoming spill calls. Be part of the spill response team.
  8. Ensure 5S standards are met and maintained.
  9. Respect operating time yield standards.
  10. Analyze some variances and propose implementation of action plans.
  11. Set-up/write SOPs. Apply all standards (environment, quality, safety/HSE, aseptic, cost).
  12. Perform In-Process Controls (IPC).
  13. Complete and check batch reports.
  14. Raise alert in case of dangerous situations, near miss/miss, QA deviation etc.
  15. Run internal audits.
  16. On the assigned workstations, ensure that CPS standards are applied.
  17. Update & monitor performance indicators on his/her line/zone, analyze gaps, propose and perform resolution actions.
  18. Propose and implement ideas for improvement (short/medium term).
  19. Carry out process confirmation as provided by the corresponding planning function.
  20. Guarantee compliance with performance and workshop storage standards in the assigned workshops; raise alert if needed.
  21. Ensure first level of maintenance and changeovers (clean machines and keep them in good condition), escalate if any deviation/issue.
  22. Suggest small CAPEX investments to improve performance (below 5K€).
  23. Actively participate in occasional site/department projects and in continuous improvement workshops.
  24. Share good practices.
  25. Train temporary workers and/or junior operators.
  26. Own personal development: know skill matrix and suggest training.

Follows all health and safety rules and regulations. Perform other duties as needed.

Your Profile:

About You

  • You have a technical College diploma in a related technical/biological field OR
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Biological or Engineering Technology is considered an asset.
  • You have previous experience working in a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical facility.
