IN-HOME CAREGIVER (QUÉBEC – J1X 3W2)

Job Title: Caregiver

A busy professional family in Magog is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide assistance and companionship to an elderly man with a chronic illness. The caregiver will support him with his daily routine, including medication management, meal planning and preparation, and general household responsibilities in the employer’s absence.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, six days a week, with a schedule of 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday and 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday. Days off are usually Saturday and Sunday, but flexibility is essential as they may vary depending on the employer’s shift schedule.

Salary: $17 per hour

Required Languages: English required; French is an asset.

Minimum Education: General High School diploma – Completed

Experience: 1-2 years of experience with the elderly or equivalent experience, either through work or studies as a nurse, midwife, or psychologist is required.

Other Conditions: Punctuality, reliability, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience with the elderly.
