About Prism Halton:

Prism Halton is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and educating the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community in Halton. We curate and endorse initiatives that celebrate diversity and inclusivity while fostering a safe, welcoming environment.

Role Overview:

We are seeking two creative and collaborative individuals to join our team as graphic designers. Working together, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining our website and social media platforms to ensure a cohesive, inclusive, and engaging online presence. You will report directly to the Chair of the Board to ensure all designs and updates meet our organization’s standards and align with our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the other graphic designer to create visual content for the website and social media channels.
2. Design graphics that align with Prism Halton’s brand and message.
3. Regularly update and maintain website visuals and layout.
4. Create eye-catching visuals for social media posts, event promotions, and announcements.
5. Work with the Chair of the Board to review and approve all updates.
6. Ensure all designs are accessible and inclusive for the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
2. Familiarity with web design principles and social media management.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
4. Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and supporting the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community.
