Position: Educational Assistant (EA)/Behaviour Support Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant/Behaviour Support Specialist to provide one-on-one support for a student requiring additional assistance. This role focuses on creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment while implementing effective behavioral strategies to ensure the student's academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one support to assigned student
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and support plans
• Monitor and document student progress and behavioral patterns
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals
• Assist with academic tasks and learning activities
• Support the development of social skills and positive behaviors
• Help create and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Participate in team meetings regarding student progress
• Adapt learning materials to meet student's needs
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information
