Job Description:

As a Business Analyst at Upskills, you will be at the forefront of analyzing and optimizing business processes for our clients in the financial industry. Your role will involve working closely with our financial institution clients to understand their business needs, analyze their current processes, and recommend solutions that leverage our fintech solutions to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct in-depth analysis of clients' business processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
2. Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges within the financial sector.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and product managers, to design and implement technology solutions that meet the needs of our financial institution clients.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key liaison between them and our technical teams.
5. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in fintech and financial services to propose innovative solutions.
6. Assist in the development and refinement of our product offerings by providing feedback from the field.
7. Implementing the Deal Life Cycle in a BO system, Validation of Confirmation and Settlement Documents.
8. Accounting, PL computation and reconciliation, Valuation Models settings, Yield curve construction, Off-Markets Checks.
9. Risk Management, Market Risk, Credit Risk, VaR, Stress-tests and backtesting.
10. Pricing Models Validation, Deal Capture Tools configuration, Risk Monitoring/Control workflows, Streamlining processes for new products.

Requirements

1. Master's Degree Holder, preferably from Financial Engineering, Banking and Finance, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Information System, or similar disciplines.
2. Knowledge of financial products such as forwards, futures, swaps, bonds, and options.
3. Proactive with the ability to deliver tasks on-time.
4. Proficient with SQL, R, Python, and Excel VBA is advantageous.
5. Highly committed and motivated to learn in the Financial Market.
6. Knowledge of Treasury Products or Treasury Systems (Murex, Calypso, SunGard, etc.) will be an advantage but not a must.
