Location: Calgary, Alberta
Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4-5 hours per day (flexible within standard business hours)
Work Arrangement: Primarily in-office, with occasional remote work as needed

We are seeking a tech-savvy and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support one of our firm’s partners.

Role Overview
As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the partner’s daily operations run smoothly. This includes managing their schedule, enhancing firm efficiency by implementing new technologies, and maintaining effective client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Schedule Management: Coordinate and manage the partner’s calendar, appointments, and deadlines.
  2. Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and correspondence professionally.
  3. Technology Implementation: Assist in researching, recommending, and implementing new tools and technologies to improve workflow and efficiency.
  4. Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, and email management.
  5. Organization: Maintain digital and physical files, ensuring records are up-to-date and easily accessible.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  2. Tech-savvy, with a strong ability to learn and implement new software and tools.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other business tools.
  4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  6. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  7. Familiarity with the accounting industry is a plus but not required.
