Certified Forklift Operator

Our SW Calgary client is looking for an experienced and certified forklift operator to help with several projects! This company values hard work, teamwork, and a “get-it-done” attitude, with a solid track record of safety for their employees!

Responsibilities:

1. Loading and unloading heavy products.
2. Dismantling heavy shelving units using various hand and power tools.
3. Moving and organizing piping into a designated area.
4. Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Current forklift certification, with proven proficiency on the Counterbalance forklift.
2. 2 - 3 years of warehouse experience.
3. Experience loading, unloading, and maneuvering heavy long loads.
4. Experience with hand and power tools and willing to dismantle large shelving units.
5. Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
6. Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolve issues in a timely manner.
7. Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required.
