What You Will Do:

  • Prepare and perform hardness testing.
  • Prepare samples for metallography.
  • Assist with data collection and entry.
  • Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the department continuous improvement culture.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all matters.
  • Other duties as required.

Position Details:

  • Working at the Edmonton facility exclusively.
  • Temporary/Fixed-term.
  • 20-40 hours per week, varies based on demands.
  • Mainly working day shift operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in an Engineering program, preferably Materials Engineering, through a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check, and physical demands assessment required upon hire.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
