Agilus is recruiting for a HVAC Technician in the Automotive industry in Windsor, Ontario. The Utilities HVAC Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of routine operational and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility's efficient and safe operation. This includes but is not limited to monitoring, adjustments and reporting of equipment operation, and cleaning, repair, and basic maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Work in a fast-paced team-oriented state of the art manufacturing environment
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and overhaul environmental control equipment such as condenser units, pumps, air handlers, heat exchangers, dehumidifiers and other mechanical equipment.
Monitor and maintain equipment to control areas within specifications (35%, 10% and 1% relative humidity zones)
Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for environmental control systems.
Identify parts and material for repairs and maintain refrigerant stock and assist in training apprentices.
New equipment specification review and support including commissioning checks and risk assessments and assist in creating incident reports with deep dive problem solving and root cause investigation.
Demonstrate problem solving methodology and assist in reduction of utility cost and follow work procedures and comply with safety standards.
Requirements:
2+ years of commercial and/or industrial HVAC experience
313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic
A valid G Driver's License, with a clean abstract
Willing and able to work plant shutdowns, weekends and holidays as needed
Willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice
Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems.
