Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Labourer to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is focused on high-quality property maintenance and offers an opportunity to develop skills in concrete brick laying. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform property maintenance tasks, including cultivating, weeding, fertilizing, perennial care, pruning, snow removal, and de-icing to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Participate in early morning team activities, such as loading trucks and trailers, watering, and maintaining plant inventory.
  • Assist with site setup and cleanup, including sweeping and blowing debris at the end of the day.
  • Operate small equipment such as backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, and other hand tools.
  • Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and outdoor containers.
  • Assist with garden construction activities, such as digging, site preparation, planting, and mulching.
  • Work with materials such as river rock, lay flagstone, and install armor stone as needed.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards.
  • Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support team goals and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required. 5 years of experience as a construction labourer is an asset.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 40+ pounds, using a wheelbarrow, and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, from early mornings to late afternoons.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality in all aspects of work.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to take direction and collaborate.
  • Problem-solving skills to address and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
  • Hardworking, self-motivated, and dedicated to continuous improvement.

Compensation &Benefits:

  • Hourly wage: $22/hour
