Automotive Service Advisor

Overview
Chad's Auto is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and knowledge for automotive repair and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers and assist them with their service needs.
2. Define the scope of repair with the customer.
3. Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles.
4. Provide accurate estimates and times for repairs and maintenance services.
5. Communicate effectively with the service team and mechanics to ensure timely completion of work.
6. Communicate to the customer any additional work that may be required as identified by the technician.
7. Prepare invoices and quotes for customers.
8. Explain the performed work and invoice to the customer.
9. Update inventory as needed.
10. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

1. Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians and customers.
3. Mitchell 1 ProDemand experience preferred.
4. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Schedule
Monday-Friday except holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Service advisor: 1 year (preferred).
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred).

Work Location: In person.
