Intent of the process
Immediate need : One (1) full-time position in Yellowknife, NT.
This process will be used to fill current vacancies and to establish a pool of qualified candidates for future opportunities in Northwest Territories only, with various security requirements (reliability or secret). Candidate information will not be shared with federal departments outside Northwest Territories to fill vacancies elsewhere across Canada.

EDUCATION :
Graduation with a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in environmental sciences, environmental studies, environmental engineering, biology, ecology, chemistry, earth sciences, physical geography, or other science or applied science directly relevant to the position.
EXPERIENCE :
Significant is defined as the depth and breadth of experience associated with the performance of a broad range of related activities which were primarily the candidate’s responsibility. It will be assessed on the basis of scope, complexity and the diversity of the work performed as well as the autonomy required of the candidate to perform the activities. This level of experience is normally achieved through the performance of relevant duties for a period of at least two (2) years.
Recent experience is defined as experience acquired in the last five (5) years.
