Production Manager

Jump Recruitment is seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and innovative Production Manager for our client, Ocean Choice International, based in Triton, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Position:
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager will perform their duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy, and will be responsible for the following:

• Establish daily, monthly and annual production targets, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Develop and provide oversight of job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results to ensure production goals are achieved.
• Promote a safety culture focused on hazard recognition and elimination.
• Maintain quality by establishing and applying organizational standards.
• Analyze production performance data and records.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years' similar experience in a management role, preferably within the fishing industry.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, good leadership skills, and the capability to manage multiple projects in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with the proven ability to work independently with the ability to motivate others and work in a team-based performance environment.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
