Senior UX / Product Designer – 6 Months Contract

Role Overview:

As a Senior Product UX/UI Designer, you will lead the design process from concept to execution for our products, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and other Designers. You will be responsible for creating seamless and engaging user experiences while maintaining a strong understanding of business goals, user needs, and technical constraints. You'll be a member of the Sysdig Design team made up of 10 members across San Francisco, Italy and Israel.

What you will do

1. Reporting to the Director of Product Design you will lead the design of product experience for our Inventory feature area with opportunity to contribute to other cross-platform features.
2. Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements, user flows, and design concepts.
3. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using our design system that communicate design solutions.
4. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
5. Ensure designs are consistent with the brand's visual identity, style guides, and design systems.
6. Contribute to the Sysdig Design system in Figma.

What you will bring with you

1. 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing product design expertise.
2. Experience with UX principles, user-centered design.
3. Proficiency with Figma.
4. Knowledge of design systems, UI patterns, and front-end development principles.
5. Experience in user research, including usability testing, user interviews, and data analysis.

The U.S. hourly rate for this position is $90 USD/hour. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including your work location, job-related experience and education.
