About the opportunity

Join our expanding "Make It Happen" team at Homestar! We are currently seeking a dedicated Social Media Marketing Associate.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle all advertising and promotional activities across Google and Meta platforms.
2. Oversee and coordinate all social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and Mailchimp.
3. Capture and utilize event photos and job site imagery across our social media platforms.
4. Develop and implement strategies to boost follower growth and engagement.
5. Analyze performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for future optimizations.
6. Maintain a consistent posting schedule for event promotions.
7. Monitor and promptly address comments and direct messages.
8. Organize and manage photo collections on departmental drives.

Requirements:

1. Experience with visual content creation (graphics, photos, videos).
2. Understanding of social media strategies, best practices, and a commitment to applying this expertise in a professional setting.
3. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
4. Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines consistently.
5. Demonstrated experience and familiarity with various social media platforms.
6. Advanced analytical capabilities.
7. Familiarity with SEO optimization is an asset.
8. Skills in Photoshop and Canva considered an asset.
