The Manitoba Crop Diversification Centre (MCDC), located in Carberry – Manitoba, fosters the development and adoption of science-based solutions for agricultural crop production. The Centre collaborates on applied research projects with industry and academic institutions, collectively advancing agricultural innovations to producers.
The MCDC invites applications for a term Research Technician position to support agricultural applied research operations in Carberry. The Research Technician provides field operations and technical support to applied crop production and agricultural land management research. Responsibilities include assisting in executing field experiments in crops. Activities include land preparation and maintenance, equipment operation and maintenance, and crop husbandry related to crop seeding, maintenance, harvest, and storage. Activities also include plot data collection and entry.
