A key development in this evolution is the consolidation of the Technology Operations team with Enterprise Architecture under the leadership of a newly created role—Vice President, Technology Operations & Architecture. This strategic move is designed to align service delivery with evolving business needs while streamlining operations for greater efficiency. The incoming VP will play a pivotal role in defining the future technology landscape of BCI, driving large-scale initiatives that span cloud infrastructure, digital workplace services, enterprise architecture, and disaster recovery.
Reporting directly to the SVP, Technology & Innovation (CTO) and leading a team of over 35, the VP will lead strategically important operational and architectural initiatives. The role demands exceptional leadership, with the ability to assess current performance, anticipate future trends, and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Acting as a senior technical advisor to the SVP, the VP will guide enterprise-wide technical decision-making while working closely with teams to drive operational excellence. The VP will need to partner with BCI's Enterprise Solutions and Cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and the achievement of digital transformation goals.
Located in either Vancouver or Victoria (with a preference for Victoria), the Vice President, Technology Operations & Architecture role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future of BCI’s technology function and contribute to the continued success of one of Canada’s most dynamic investment organizations.
The annualized base salary range for this role based in Victoria or Vancouver is CAD $180,000-$230,000. The base salary offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration to internal equity.
