About the Role:
We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Marketing Analytics to join our EMEA team based out of our beautiful HQ in Amsterdam. The Senior Analytics Manager will be tasked with providing management and analysis of all types of business data for use in decision making and efficiency improvement initiatives. The primary focus of the role will be on sales and marketing performance for the UK and Ireland; however, this role is also the key business partner of EMEA operations and assists across a range of projects (e.g. Development). This position presents succinct and compelling insights and recommendations for decision making and strategic planning, using data from multiple sources (e.g. footfall data, market share). Part of the wider EMEA Analytics team, this role will specifically deputize for the Analytics director on certain occasions (e.g. presentations, meetings).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Aggregates and performs analysis on business & consumer data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
- Integrates data from multiple sources (consumer, product, sales) and performs business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining. Ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
- Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
- Works with Sr. Marketing leaders to create pre and post marketing campaign analysis and product trials, including breakeven analysis and a final business recommendation.
- Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources.
- Provides guidance and coaching on tools to internal customers.
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Programming or related field and 8+ years’ experience in analytics required. Experience working in analytics in hospitality business or adjacent sectors (e.g. leisure, retail) highly desirable.
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in SQL. Knowledge of analytics tools such as R and Python is desirable but not required. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau is essential. Understanding of relational database concepts is necessary. Experience with Amazon Redshift is desirable.
- Ability to explain/present complicated/advanced analytical methodology and results to non-technical audiences.
- Very strong presentation and written communication skills required in English. Ability to turn data insights into executive-level recommendations with limited coaching.
- Ability to analyze large amounts of information and utilize multiple data sources to mine insights, with a preference for knowledge of customer and digital data.
- Handles complex issues and problems effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must manage multiple projects at once and remain flexible as priorities may change based on business needs.
