The Manager of Business Development & Digital Marketing will be responsible to assist Paladin Security's Director of Business Development through spearheading initiatives to organically grow our organizational footprint across Ontario.
Responsibilities:
Self source organic business opportunities through cold calls, attending various properties and assessing needs of various businesses across the province.
Development of an organic sales strategy with corresponding training component for our management team.
Improve brand recognition within Ontario.
Generate a social media presence pertaining to both our industry as a whole and highlighting our organization.
Develop white papers and other marketing documents for our provincial team to utilize.
Assist when able with the completion and submission of RFPs, RFQs and RFIs.
Lead debrief discussions post results, creating action items for future bids and the modification of our proposals as necessary to maximize our opportunity for success.
Monitor tender portals ensuring that all well aligned opportunities are pursued.
Review our existing submission process and ensure that necessary changes are made.
Build and develop relationships with prospective customers by attending industry-based events.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
Degree in related business or marketing program.
Knowledge of the security industry is an asset, not a requirement.
Strong leadership, social interaction and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applications.
Ability to write and present to large groups.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to speak French would be considered an asset.
Qualifications: Post-secondary education in law enforcement from a recognized institution or equivalent experience, Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources Management considered an asset.
