About the Role - As a Dispensing Audiologist or Hearing Care Provider, you’ll provide comprehensive audiology services, including hearing assessments, treatment recommendations, and personalized care. You will be responsible for fostering community awareness around hearing loss and its solutions by leading educational initiatives, collaborating with local organizations, and developing creative marketing strategies. Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Testing: Conduct hearing assessments, interpret results, and recommend personalized treatment plans. Advise patients on the benefits of hearing aids and answer their questions to ensure informed decision-making.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations, optimize patient satisfaction, and provide seamless care from diagnosis through treatment.
- Product Fittings & Consultations: Perform hearing aid fittings, both for direct sales and referrals from providers, ensuring high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
- Community Outreach & Education: Initiate and manage community outreach programs, partnering with local businesses and organizations to raise awareness about hearing loss and hearing aid solutions.
- Marketing & Growth: Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance business growth, expand patient base, and improve retention. Regularly report on patient activity, outcomes, and new patient development.
- Relationship Building: Strengthen relationships with local general practitioners (GPs) and ENTs to promote referral opportunities and foster collaboration within the healthcare community.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice in Ontario
- Experience in dispensing hearing aids is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to both clinical care and practice growth
