Our client is seeking a key hire to join their respected private family estates, located in and around Calgary. This role is essential for long-term succession planning, as the Estate Manager is working towards retirement. The ideal candidate will work closely with the current Estate Manager to gain in-depth knowledge of the property, operations, and overall management, ensuring a smooth transition in the future.
This is a hands-on, dynamic position requiring a highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented professional. The successful candidate will oversee property upkeep, coordinate contractors, assist with events, and provide general support to the estate team and family members.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance and general upkeep of multiple properties, ensuring they remain in top condition.
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee specialist contractors and service providers.
- Support family functions, including event setup, assisting the serving team, and post-event cleanup.
- Maintain and occasionally drive estate vehicles, ensuring they are clean and fueled.
- Supervise and provide occasional direction to gardeners, groundskeepers, and other estate staff.
- Handle ad hoc tasks for family members and estate team members, including errands.
- Perform other duties as required to ensure seamless estate operations.
Education:
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
- First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid passport (some travel may be required).
- Must be comfortable around dogs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 – 70 pounds.
- Must successfully pass a criminal and credit background check.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in property management, facilities management, and/or facility maintenance.
- Experience in a luxury estate or hotel setting is an asset.
- Mechanical knowledge and hands-on maintenance experience are required.

Base Salary: $80,000+ per year
- Salary based on experience

Work Hours:
- Full-time position with occasional paid overtime.
- Primarily daytime hours, with some on-call availability for emergencies.

- This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
