About The Role
Join our Technology and Information Services (TIS) Corporate Applications Workstream as an Application Lead for the US Utility (USUI) Program. In this pivotal role, you will act as a liaison between business SMEs, Dominion Energy, and TIS teams. You will oversee the Legal Services and Physical Security scope, managing sub-stream PMs and BAs, and driving the delivery of multiple workstreams. Your leadership will ensure effective communication, business engagement, and management of program interdependencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Building:
- Develop strategic partnerships with Legal Services, Enterprise Security, and TIS.
- Engage stakeholders to identify interdependencies, requirements, and risks.
- Address sensitive issues to mitigate ongoing concerns.
- Project Management:
- Lead projects, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery.
- Prioritize multiple objectives and manage critical path priorities.
- Proactively identify risks and undertake corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Enbridge Project Management Office (PMO) for project delivery.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Communicate project reports and status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with workstream and PMO Program Standards.
Scope/Dimensions
- Establish and maintain relationships within Legal Services, S&R, and TIS.
- Manage external vendors and work independently on complex technical issues.
- Make responsible decisions on all assigned matters, except those involving large sums or long-range objectives.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Reporting Relationships
- Indirect Reports: Business Analysts, Project Managers, Vendors
Mandatory Qualifications
- Related university degree or a two-year technical diploma.
- 7+ years of experience in Business Relationship Management and/or Project Management.
- Experience with process design standards, modeling, and analysis.
- Broad knowledge of project management and communication practices.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional business solutions in M&A contexts.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience negotiating SOWs with vendors.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience with organizational change and change management.
- Experience managing multiple teams or vendors.
- PMP certification.
Working Conditions
- Office environment with occasional travel.
- Pressurized environment with tight deadlines.
