As a Strategic Client Executive, you will be joining the TELUS Health Growth and Strategic Relationships team responsible for leading the relationships and development of key enterprise accounts. Account products and services will focus on the many solution lines within TELUS Health, in addition to cross-sell opportunities throughout our broader organization, including TELUS Business Solutions (TBS), TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods (TAC), and TELUS International (TI). Our mandate is to ensure our clients are receiving a holistic and integrated support program allowing them to focus on their business objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Builds long-term, trusted relationships
- Builds an in-depth understanding of the client’s business objectives
- Acts as a trusted advisor to the client, providing insights and solutions that are relevant to their business or industry
- Sets a clear vision, strategy and plan for deepening and expanding the client relationships for which they are responsible
- Drives revenue growth through consultative sales
- Builds and leads strategy to grow year over year revenue by aligning with client’s key priorities
- Leverage all product and service lines across TELUS Health, in addition to our broader client solutions within TBS, TAC and TI, to complete a holistic growth plan that meets the needs and objectives of clients
- Protects existing revenue by ensuring client satisfaction, adding value and at times leading the renewal process
- Understands client’s buying process and effectively engages in the budgeting cycle
- Navigates complex relationships
- Makes connections at all levels of client’s business with a strategy to engage executives and expand relationships across the organization
- Ability to engage stakeholders, including influencers
- Builds strategies to develop and manage global relationships
- Ability to manage internal relationships across business lines to execute on client strategy
- Mobilizes internal client teams
- Leads all aspects of client strategy through the active management of an account plan, ensuring that all team members are engaged
- Facilitates an integrated approach to client delivery ensuring that teams have a thorough understanding of their client across delivery areas
- Energizes and motivates internal teams to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and to identify and progress opportunities for growth
- Supports and holds internal client teams accountable to resolve service delivery issues when they arise
- Acts as a mentor or coach to internal team members by coaching them on strategy, reviewing content and providing them with opportunities to shine
- Leverage full suite of TELUS Health capabilities
- Creates two-way dialogue with clients to identify market trends, understand gaps and test new solutions
- Mobilizes the right expertise and capabilities from across the broader organization to bring the right solutions to clients
- Designs solutions that fit by blending all TELUS Health services, solutions, and technology capabilities
- Develops thought leadership and client ready content that can be shared across the business
A Strategic Client Executive will excel at:
- Building strong trusted advisor relationships
- Building deep understanding of client’s business and the client themselves (their individual value drivers)
- Seeing things through the client’s lens – able to deliver tailored messages that resonate with the client
- Opening new opportunities to cross-sell across all business lines to existing clients, driving sustainable revenue growth
- Establishing credibility with senior leaders
- Navigating and coordinating the right internal resources to create solutions, address challenges and remove barriers
- Providing hands-on support and/or sponsoring enterprise projects as needed
- Translating industry knowledge, competitive market dynamics, general business acumen and deep understanding of client’s business into value added insights & solutions
Minimum Requirements:
- Business experience that includes directly managing and supporting complex clients
- Strong knowledge and experience with various levels of government
- Understanding of formal and informal workings of the machinery of government(s) as well as strong networks at the political and/or bureaucratic levels
- A strong knowledge and understanding of the TELUS Health solutions and capabilities
- A strong understanding of Canadian benefit plans and the mental health landscape are key
- Drive revenue growth
- Executive on sales strategy growth across TELUS Health and TELUS business units
- Develop and effectively manage a sales funnel, leveraging existing TELUS relationships
- Navigate a complex sales cycle with many stakeholders
- Understand client’s buying process and effectively engage in the budgeting cycle
- Collaborate with business units, marketing and sales teams to drive product intensity across TELUS Health client base with strategy specific to enterprise market
