About Us:

Advanced Women's Health is a growing multi-location business dedicated to providing exceptional care and products. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Inventory Advisor to streamline and standardize inventory management practices across all locations, with direct supplier relationships and no centralized warehouse.

Job Summary:

The Inventory Advisor will lead the design, implementation, and training for an efficient inventory management system. This role involves creating inventory standards and cadence, reducing backorders, transitioning to a new inventory system, and ensuring all team members are trained on new processes. A strong understanding of Shopify, basic accounting principles, and proficiency in Excel is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement standardized inventory management practices across multiple locations.
  2. Establish an inventory cadence to ensure consistent stock levels and minimize backorders.
  3. Lead the transition to a new inventory management system, including the integration of Shopify tools.
  4. Train staff on the new inventory system and ongoing inventory management processes.
  5. Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with suppliers to streamline order processes and maintain optimal stock levels.
  7. Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory transactions using Excel and other tools.
  8. Ensure inventory practices align with basic accounting principles for accurate financial tracking.
  9. Provide ongoing recommendations to improve inventory workflows and supplier relationships.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in inventory management, preferably across multi-location businesses.
  2. Strong proficiency in Shopify and its inventory management tools. Experience with Zoho is a plus!
  3. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and experience working with inventory costs.
  4. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  5. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  6. Experience in implementing and training teams on new systems or processes.
  7. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with direct supplier inventory workflows.
  2. Familiarity with inventory management software beyond Shopify.
  3. Prior experience in healthcare, wellness, or retail industries.

  2. Ability to multi-task and regularly adjust workflow.
  3. Self-starter that does not need constant guidance.
  4. Able to handle a fast-paced environment.
  5. Must have excellent written and spoken English.
