Overview We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting, with a strong understanding of administrative tasks and proficiency in relevant software systems.
Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and directing inquiries as necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Contact patients to schedule outstanding appointments and book a condensed schedule.
Handle billing inquiries and process claims and payments.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
Problem solving with claim submission and errors.
Requirements
Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental office is preferred.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in using phone systems and electronic medical records software.
Familiarity with Paradigm is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
HARP certified an asset but not required.
