THE SCOPE

The Intermediate Architectural Technologist at Dean Thomas Design Group will play a crucial role in the development, preparation, and review of working drawings. You will transform sketches and notes into detailed drawings, leveraging your expertise in AutoCAD and SketchUp. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively liaise with clients, builders, and governing authorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and prepare working drawings from sketches and notes.
2. Collaborate closely with team members to foster a supportive and innovative environment.
3. Ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
4. Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
5. Engage in team-building activities and cross-functional initiatives for continuous improvement.

THE CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will hold a degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and production. You should be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines. Experience with luxury residential projects is preferred.

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
2. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members at Dean Thomas Design Group.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on effective communication.
