Job description

We are currently looking for a content creator and digital strategist that can weave a tapestry of content that drives growth, demand generation and strategic organizational growth for WeUsThem and its clients globally. You are by definition a storyteller and are able to create compelling copy across mediums, digital, print, broadcast, etc. with ease. With a strategic focus on keyword driven content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and website content management, you are able to use the tools you have access to drive engagement across channels and mediums.

Your knowledge on forming strategies or appreciating what is required for various brands, along with the tactics that will drive growth is also being sought after.

Responsibilities:

  • Know the various digital platforms that you can create strategies for and how your content can drive brand awareness and growth through them all.
  • You know social media, how individuals consume content on social media and what resonates with those demographics that live there.
  • Create effective and compelling copy for WeUsThem and their clients to drive fundamental organizational growth.
  • Be comfortable in developing stories and technical copy when needed, and being able to comfortably switch between them as needed.
  • Provide for a conversational prowess that furthers our engagement in person, online and through digital properties. Yes, you will be involved in engaging with our clients and their stakeholders and so conversational skills are required.
  • You are able to develop an effective content marketing strategy and editorial calendar to drive organic and paid growth across properties, drive awareness, reach, engagement, etc. across markets and audiences.
  • Be comfortable doing primary and secondary research involving interviews, polls, surveys, conversations, etc.
  • Be able to provide copy for all creative work including videography, photography, print, animation, etc. further aligned to the conversion points identified in the core strategy for the organization.
  • Familiarity with distribution channels, channel optimization, audience segmentation, etc. that will drive consumption of the content designed and delivered through them.
  • Be able to think on your feet to support live engagement occurring, while respecting brand tenets and core values of the organization.
  • Will be creative, yet analytical to measure the tactics employed and how they align with the strategies.
  • Will manage all WeUsThem properties including the website, social media, etc. to position our brand as it should be. This will include supporting our Accounts team in their efforts on business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/BBA/BMgmt/etc in Journalism, Creative Writing, Languages, Marketing, Communications, PR or related field
  • Experience in a content creation or marketing role preferred
  • Excellent conversational and written English is required.
  • Excellent conversational French and written French is preferred.
  • Have unbridled passion to manage client and our agency’s accounts driving bottom-line growth across properties.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to move between accounts as needed.
  • Audience tailored mindset around ensuring what copy would work for what types of audiences and how it would resonate with each.
  • Know social media platforms and ideally know the ad platforms, reporting, etc.
  • Strict attention to detail and copy editing (grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc)
  • Ability to analyze, measure and report on content performance and impact across channels (Analytics, websites, Syndication, Advertising) while also developing reports for clients on the same per campaign or projects.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, social media platforms, WordPress (or other CMS), and SEO optimization software a plus.
