Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers.

Duties

• You will be responsible for crafting high standard quality tea and coffee.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Uphold company policies and procedures while promoting a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience is an asset.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
