Principal, Consumer Tech Investment

We're on the lookout for a talented professional to become an integral part of our technology investment team. This is your chance to be a key player in our exciting venture into the realms of product design, venture capital, and growth equity. As a Senior Associate, you'll work closely with the team lead, contributing your expertise to source, lead, negotiate, and manage investments in the ever-evolving Consumer tech sector. From Media & Communication to Gaming and Marketplaces, you'll be at the forefront of discovering and nurturing groundbreaking opportunities.

As a Principal you will:

1. Play a key role in supporting all aspects of the investment cycle from deal origination, screening, due diligence, structuring and negotiation, modelling, investment memo preparation, investment committee presentations to portfolio management and exit.
2. Conduct due diligence to support investment decisions via market research, competitor benchmarking, and valuations analysis.
3. Establish and build effective relationships within the venture capital ecosystem, including Startups, venture funds, corporate partners, and other service providers.

Ideal candidate we are looking for is:

1. 8+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a leading technology corporate, a successful Startup, reputable venture capital/growth equity investment firm.
2. Technical background and product experience is a major plus, ideally as an alum of top consumer tech firms or a graduate/Ph.D. of engineering/CS/philosophy/Law.
3. Exceptionally curious and driven, with the ability to balance competing priorities, work independently and thrive in a high-performance team environment with demanding deadlines.
