Controller

Job Summary: The position oversees financial controls and operations for Touchstone Properties, ensuring fiscal integrity and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing general and construction ledgers, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role also involves supervising accounting staff, collaborating with development teams on financing deals, and overseeing external audits and tax preparations.

Essential Duties:

1. Manage accounting operations and financial reporting for Touchstone Properties.
2. Lead month-end and annual financial closes.
3. Coordinate with development teams on financing and reporting requirements.
4. Oversee external audits, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Manage treasury functions and daily cash reporting.
6. Analyze property performance and ensure budget compliance.
7. Supervise accounting staff and support their professional development.

Qualifications:

1. CPA preferred, with a degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
2. 8-10 years of experience in financial management, ideally in a Controller or Accounting Director role.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with real estate financing is beneficial.
