Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)

Our client is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their healthcare team in Northern Ontario. This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple laboratory disciplines, engaging both directly with patients and in behind-the-scenes diagnostics that contribute to high-quality patient care.

The Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results. Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct laboratory testing across multiple disciplines to support patient care.
2. Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as required.
3. Ensure accuracy and quality control in all laboratory procedures.
4. Maintain proper documentation and adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and treatment plans.
6. Utilize laboratory equipment and technology to analyze specimens efficiently.

Requirements

1. Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
2. Previous experience in laboratory disciplines and phlebotomy is an asset.
