Business Systems Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

Location:Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto OR Burlington, ON)
Duration:2 years (Opportunity for extension)

Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Business Systems Analyst - Advanced to gather, document, and understand Functional and Non-Function business requirements from key Stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

• Facilitate meetings with development team
• Create Low-res mockups of reports
• Perform UAT and UI validation against business requirements
• Pull data from MS SQL to validate business metric logic and aggregations
• Coordinate French translations
• Metric definition documentation
• Project Planning
• Prepare launch communications

Must-Have Skills:

• 5 to 9 years of related work experience as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects
• 2 to 3 years of functional testing and data validation
• 2 to 3 years of working in Financial Institute (Commercial is an asset)
• 2 to 3 years of experience on working with data/reporting projects
• 2 to 3 years of experience with database and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL)
• Experience with MS Office
• Experience withTeradata, and Snowflake

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Agile SCRUM/Kanban training
• Jira and Confluence Experience
• Experience with Intelligent Design
• Experience with webpage/graphic design
• CBAP certification
