Ready to Make an impact? Here’s where you’ll be focusing:
  1. Work closely with the Buyer/Planner, manage the daily operations of the night Production Shift.
  2. Communicate with team members and provide direction, assistance, and guidance regarding all department operations.
  3. Maintain superior customer service levels with both internal and external customers.
  4. Production planning and inventory management.
  5. Coach and lead teammates to achieve performance, quality and service goals.
  6. Cultivate a positive and innovative work environment.
  7. Identify and analyze areas for cost reduction or margin improvement.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
  9. Strive for continuous improvement.
  10. Administrative duties related to production, shipping and quality performance.
What you have to offer:
  1. 2-4 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  2. 1-4 years’ experience in direct supervision in a manufacturing environment.
  3. 4-year college degree in food science or related field and/or commensurate job experience.
  4. Strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
  5. Able to direct a diverse workforce.
  6. Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
  7. Thorough understanding of production planning, scheduling, purchasing and cost analysis.
  8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access.
  9. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  10. Critical thinking, analytical and detail-oriented preferred.
  11. Understanding of manufacturing regulations regarding safety, quality, HACCP, BRC and GMP’s.
  12. Ability to analyze cost performance data to improve operations and reduce costs.
  13. Able to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
  14. 4 nights a week, 10-hr shifts.
