Nursing Adjunct Faculty Opportunity

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce openings for the position of Adjunct Faculty in Healthcare Professions Division. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

What You’ll Do
As Adjunct Faculty, the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

1. Provide instruction, service, and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.
2. Applicants must be able to work in all clinical settings of the program.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must:

1. Be an RN.
2. Be licensed in Florida and hold a minimum of a baccalaureate degree with a major in nursing. Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
3. Pass background check and meet health requirements.
4. Demonstrate commitment to student retention and success.
5. Commit to the development and assessment of student learning.
6. Utilize technology and innovative approaches to enhance teaching and learning, including distance learning and alternative delivery systems.
7. Be willing to support a diverse population of learners inside and beyond the classroom.
8. Have the ability to work in a participatory and collegial setting.
