HVAC Refrigeration Technician

SDR Electric, Plumbing & Heating is currently looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. They will perform all repairs and installations for our customers’ heating/cooling systems. Responsibilities include diagnosing, testing, repairing, and maintaining as needed while prioritizing calls based on business goals. Ultimately, you will work with customers to ensure their heating or cooling units run smoothly at all times.

Responsibilities

1. Provide timely, knowledgeable, and quality repairs of customers’ units.
2. Maintain high-quality customer service and care.
3. Look for ways to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience.
4. Conduct performance tests with specialized tools and adjust system settings.
5. Travel to different homes and businesses throughout the day and determine problems.
6. Categorize and organize inventory to limit unnecessary losses to the company.

Requirements

1. Proven work experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic or similar role.
2. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
3. Certification or associate's degree from a relevant program is an asset.
4. Electrician experience is also an asset.

Salary: $19.93-$44.41 per hour
