What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
2. Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of systems on that infrastructure
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement CI/CD pipelines
4. Build and manage containerized applications
5. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. 10+ years of software engineering/development experience
2. 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience
3. Experience designing and deploying solutions to cloud environments (AWS)
4. Proficiency with IaC tooling (Terraform or similar) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/Helm/Docker)
5. Experience with RDBMS systems (MySQL or similar), including managing schema evolution and disaster recovery

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting tools
2. Awareness of compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, CCCS)
3. Experience with developer tooling (Artifactory, Sonar, Gradle)
4. Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK Stack or similar)
5. Knowledge of secure coding practices and security frameworks
