Remote Call Center Representative (Saskatchewan)

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

1. Identification, inspection, and reporting of trees and brush along power line corridors.
2. Consultation and consenting with landowners and/or stakeholders.
3. Complete quality assurance and quality control auditing, inspections, and compliance based on client requirements.
4. Discuss and negotiate access issues with stakeholders/property owners.
5. Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area.
6. Helps enforce on-the-job safety practices.
7. Carries and utilizes materials, tools, and equipment at the work site.
8. Services trucks and equipment. Keeps trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion. Reports the need for equipment and truck repairs to the supervisor.
9. Uphold CNUC core values and maintain a positive work environment.
10. Must adhere to CNUC’s “Employee/Contractor Smoking, Alcohol and Drug Policy Minimum Requirements” handbook.
11. Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

1. Integrated Resource Management diploma, Forestry Resource Technology diploma, and/or BSc in Forestry is preferred OR
2. One or more years of Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) field-related experience preferred.
3. Species identification skills and invasive species knowledge, plus knowledge of tree growth rates.
4. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
5. Ability to work independently.
6. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
7. Ability to work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
8. Ability to read and follow maps.

Travel will be required.
