We are currently looking for a Electromechanical Technician to join our team.

What you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems at Bitfarms facilities. Their goal is to ensure the efficiency and reliability of combined electrical and mechanical systems through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. They must possess electronic and mechanical skills to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. This role is crucial to ensuring the functionality and stability of our operations infrastructure, including low-voltage equipment.

More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electromechanical equipment and systems, including motors, generators, and electrical distribution panels.
• Perform electrical tests and measurements to ensure proper system operation.
• Perform maintenance and adjustments on distribution transformers, power supply systems, UPSs, and backup power equipment.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to integrate new equipment and technologies.
• Participate in the installation and configuration of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Prepare technical reports on interventions performed and maintain detailed maintenance records using a maintenance management program.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and work procedures established by the company.
• Identify opportunities for improving existing systems and propose solutions.
• Act as an ambassador for Bitfarms' values and culture.
• Perform other duties related to the role and general maintenance of the data centers.

Here's the profile we're looking for:

• Degree in electromechanics, industrial electricity, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of verifiable experience in electromechanical maintenance, preferably in large-scale operations.
• Advanced knowledge of medium and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with specialized tools and equipment, such as multimeters and network analyzers.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other departments.
• Valid driver's license and availability to travel to the job site.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting or moving equipment weighing up to 20 kg.
• Familiarity with building mechanics.
