Your initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work.

You are responsible for projects that are an integral part of the program in line with Desjardins's strategic plan. They can have a significant impact on an entire sector or the organization. You lead, influence, and serve as an expert for teams, senior management, and decision-making bodies. You represent Desjardins's standpoint and enter the organization into agreements with external providers.

More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Carry out all the plans needed to properly manage the program, taking into account issues, complexity, practitioners, and tie-ins with other Desjardins projects and programs.
  • Implement governance mechanisms and metrics adapted to the context of the program to ensure effective management of execution and stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting that reflects transparency.
  • Communicate well and explain clearly according to the participants.
  • Coordinate key people for the program, and ensure quality of work and recovery of benefits.
  • Analyze program risks and impacts and develop strategies to address them.
  • Manage change requests, solution testing, and implementation strategy.
  • Rigorously manage the program's financial aspects.
  • Set up multidisciplinary delivery teams using an agile approach sometimes combined with a waterfall approach.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and annual bonus.
  • 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year.
  • Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement.
  • Group insurance including telemedicine.
  • Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment.

* Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria.

What you bring to the table:

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience of multi-year project initiatives in large organizations.
  • Experience with large-scale modernization projects/programs.
  • Recognized project management certification (PMP).
  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and/or clients.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
